Mixing / Tumbling (CoinJoin)
concept
Core idea
Pools multiple users’ funds into a single equal-value, multi-party transaction, or routes through a custodial tumbler, so outputs can’t be matched back to specific inputs.
When to use
Equal-value, multi-input/multi-output transaction structure; treat downstream funds as unattributable past this point absent other evidence.
Example
Equal-value inputs from many parties produce equal-value outputs, severing the link between who sent and who received.
