Peel Chain

concept

Core idea

Sends a large balance through a sequence of wallets, peeling off a small amount at each hop while the bulk continues forward, layering the trail with hundreds of micro-transactions. Common after ransomware, hacks, and darknet sales.

When to use

A single large inflow followed by a long chain of decreasing, sequential single-output sends.

Example

A hacked balance moves hop to hop, dropping a small amount to exchanges each step while the remainder rolls to a fresh wallet, building a chain of hundreds of micro-transactions.
